The Negative impact of Artificial Intelligence on students in Higher Learning -By Sani Danladi Saleh

Learning have been taken place since from the beginning of time in the early 20s with a positive outcomes and installing, inculcation and ensuring the enhancement of acquiring the required knowledge by following the proper channels,such as conducting a research of a topic , presenting the topic proposal, defending the proposal, If acknowledge by the lecturer.

Before carrying out your project by going to the places of your findings, writing, drafting and arrangement of all the chapters from 1 to 5 in a chronological order,with the guidance of your project supervisor.

Nevertheless, at the end of the project, learning and experience would have taken place(inculcated in you)

That was then. Now,
With the Emergence of Information Communication Technology (ICT),the students can make us of their computer to source out their projects topic and by Copying and pasting a similar project topics.

The undergraduate are becoming more reluctant on the task ahead and at times by neglecting their primary role of carrying out the assignment of project,that is to say they solemnly relied on the cyber cafe operatives to carry out their project for them (with little or no knowledge of what project is all about) ,
Which happens to be the process of learning, acquiring and above all knowing how to do it,by one self.
That’s for those who are not conversant with the” Artificial intelligence”

The Artificial intelligence it is refers to “as the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programed to think and learn like humans”it encompass various technologies such as machines learning, Natural language processing,computer vision and robotics,and enabling machines to perform task that typically require human intelligence,such as problem- solving, decision-making, understanding language and recognizing patterns. (According to A.I).
The Emergence of Artificial intelligence AI in the 21st century have dominate and pave a way for the youth’s, undergraduate both literate and illiterate one’s (literally) can make use of AI with the help of a smartphone using voice to communicate with the A.I App in their accessories.

Artificial Intelligence have been contributing to the Negative aspect of allowing the youth’s to make /put their brains in motion to think , process, evaluate and interpret a Natural phenomenal occurrence, question asked by the lecturer , Assignment given to the students instead of using the library;they Will ask AI, and lastly they give their all to AI to do the Task for them(Undergraduate) .

I still believe that their are few who enjoys doing their home works, Assignment and even carrying out their project by themselves ,those are the one’s that I Cherish,Respect and are my Role models/ Inspiration to put more effort in cracking and using my brains in bringing Ideas and try as much as I can to process the idea in differentiating ,classifying and bringing a Position outcomes.
