As a student, when the holiday break comes around, students know that this particular period is meant to carry out individual programs according to liking.

At every academic level, students normally sit for examinations before embarking on a specified Holiday break in which resumption follows. During Holiday break, some students find means to earn money to cater for the succeeding academic program, many regards the Holiday break as a period of relaxation, some students relax and learn concurrently with the use of time management and the likes.

MAIN CONTENT

At this very point, students are to stay at home which means a compulsory holiday break which is unspecified. In some Institutions, Examinations were approaching when this holiday break was authorized while some students were writing Examinations in some Institutions as well.

This unspecified Holiday break suits the interests of some students while on the contrary, it affects the focus and determinations of striving students. This unspecified Holiday break is also mandated on Non_ institutional academic levels like Secondary schools, Junior_ secondary schools, Primary schools, and other sub_ categories.

In Non_ institutional academic levels, the Second term Examination was approaching when this unspecified Holiday break was authorized; this demanded a pause on all academic activities, although, temporarily.

Generally, the progress of 2019/2020 academic session has been disrupted by the break. Schools were pertinent on Examination when this break was introduced, so on this ground, academic policymakers would deem it fit to schedule quick Examination after resumption in order to meet up and adjust the disrupted academic calendar.

On a larger sphere, many students believe that going to school is beyond the attainment of certificates, while some believe that going to school is just to obtain certificates, although, the latter is unjustified. A student who knows the purpose and importance of Education would take note that this break should not be wasted on junk events.

No one knows how long this holiday would last, but schools will definitely resume as soon as possible. When schools resume, students are left with super roles to play; the performances after resumption would be determined by the kind of preparation made. These preparations are of two perspectives.

The first perspective is found in the instance of students who address this break as an academic challenge. Students who know that in order not to spoil the 2019/202 academic session, academic policymakers would introduce a short term Examination would thrivingly make Good use of this unspecified break by engaging in learning for self_ discoveries. These students would later appreciate academic efforts made during the break.

On the contrary, many a student believe that learning during this untimed holiday break is a waste of time and efforts; this thought is not commended. Currently, there are a lot of students who are found in the thick of this pretentious perspective.

Students who procrastinate academic activities till resumption have forgotten that, apart from progressive learning, what has been learnt may be forgotten; this uncommendable thought should be changed because it is not too late for students who practise it. These students should embrace the first perspective which is highly befitting.

CONCLUSION

Since no students want to be a failure; a word is enough for the wise. As it is normally said:”The earlier the preparation, the better it is”; this means the efforts made obviously reflect in the Succeeding actions. Continuity in learning yields good as gold importance in all activities. Stay safe! Stay at home!
