UPDATE: Troops kill three terrorists, recover weapons in Kaduna
The military high command commended the troops of Operation Forest Sanity and encouraged the general public to avail troops with credible and timely information on terrorist and all criminal activities within their area.
Nigerian Army troops, Operation Forest Sanity have killed three terrorists and recovered arms and ammunition in Kaduna State.
The operation took place on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
The director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami, in a statement, said the terrorists were killed during an ambush operation to bandits’ enclave along Road Tsohon Kabai-Kubusu Forest in Chikun Local Government Area of the state.
He said the troops killed three terrorists in a firefight and recovered two AK 47 rifles, four magazines, 16 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, hard drugs, assorted charms and one motorcycle.
