In a fit of ‘mugubriosity’ (my newly coined word for foolishness), Late Chief MKO Abiola’s widow, Modupe Onitiri-Abiola, who seems to have a propensity for clout chasing, recently challenged Constituted Authority when she broadcast a video of herself declaring the creation of a Democratic Republic of the Yoruba, to the consternation of some Yoruba Nation leaders and other patriotic citizens of the country. Who does that?
Following her audacious declaration, there was later an unexpected attack by a set of armed men on the Oyo State government secretariat.
Consequently, it resulted in the demolition of the building where she made the declaration. It was done in compliance with a court order.
