Reno Omokri and Daddy Freeze

Reno Omokri, an open supporter of Daddy freeze and his war on the Church and Pastors took issues with him over criticisms of reports of a newly acquired private jet by an Apostle.

Reno Omokri was unhappy about the criticism because he said he had given daddy freeze private access to the Apostle and expected he’d engage that way.

Reno Omokri seems to be against Pastors he doesn’t have personal access to or those that don’t align with his political views.

Daddy freeze seems to support any Pastor who endorses him in public or agrees with what he says or teaches. It is almost as if he’s recruiting to his own kind of faith – where he’s the know all.

Reno Omokri and Daddy Freeze

Reno Omokri and Daddy freeze have supported each other for months against Churches and Pastors, but as soon as Daddy freeze derided Reno Omokri’s choice, he withdrew his support.

He once said Daddy Freeze is a Luther, and implied he doesn’t want to close down churches. But what he disagreed with Daddy Freeze about wasn’t the Scriptures, or the tons of nonsense he’s been saying, but on support of an Apostle he personally knows.

Though daddy freeze later backtracked, saying he speaks to the Apostle regularly and tried to explain away why he called him out in public.

The standards of these critics, their hypocrisy and selfishness came to bear in their open disagreement. One would have thought that those seeking to ‘liberate’ people from Churches and Pastors would be fair and balanced in their judgment and views, but NO – if the thing doesn’t favor them, they are against it.

There are many of their supporters too, who choose what Pastor to applaud or believe, because of public good. But that love – as important as it is, comes after Christ recommended four ways to love the LORD.

[Luke 10:27, And He answering said, Thou shalt love the LORD thy GOD with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.]

It is really difficult to understand how people, who claim to be smart, are blinded to think that Church and Pastors are problems in Nigeria requiring dedicated time to counter.

There are ranking problems in Nigeria not connected to any Church or Pastor. If there is no electricity, it is not on Pastor, or Church. If healthcare is grim, it is not on a Church or Pastor. If there is high unemployment, it is not on a Pastor or Church. If roads are bad and poverty is pervasive, it is not on any Pastor or Church.

Yes, the teachings of Christ are strict on holiness and righteousness. And a society with large Christianity is supposed to show the result. But genuine salvation is personal, worked out with fear and trembling. No true Pastor or Church is responsible for defiance of the true teachings of Christ by any member.

Jesus Christ is the standard of true Christianity, not any Pastor, or Church, or individual, or hater. [Hebrews 12:2, Looking unto JESUS the Author and Finisher of [our] Faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the Right Hand of the Throne of GOD.]

The haters of true Churches and Pastors use confusion to build followership. They quote the Scriptures for attack, to feel supreme, or to be praised.

They don’t quote the Scriptures for repentance, or holiness, or for love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Some said alcohol is fine, they have verses to show, OK. But they have to decide if alcohol and other stuff around it represent holiness and righteousness.

The critics don’t understand that any human being has the capability to criticize the Bible, because many of the things requested for obedience are spiritual targets – through the physical. GOD is a Spirit. [Luke 16:25, But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.] [Matthew 13:43, Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.] [John 20:29, JESUS saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.] [Matthew 5:20, For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.]

Christ once told an individual – sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

This is almost impossible for the critical thinking of any individual to agree with. Yet, Christ, the Author and Finisher of the Christian Faith said so.

In Matthew 5, there are several teachings of Christ heavy on humility, brokenness, selflessness, etc.

“Swear not; don’t call someone a fool; don’t judge; let your yes be yes/no be no; when someone slaps you on the right cheek turn to the other; if you’re sued and a shirt is taken give your coat too; if thy right eye/hand offend thee, cut if off; avoid divorce; if someone asks you to go a mile with them go two miles instead; don’t commit immorality in your hearts, give to those who ask, lend to those who request; love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you; be perfect for GOD is perfect.”

Many of these are quite tough for any individual to comply with. Devout Christians do as much as they can with grace, but the world can be hard on anyone to live in Christ’s total spirituality. [Zephaniah 2:3, Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought His judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.]

A lot of critics hail science and technology against Christianity, but what solution has science for wickedness, envy, hate, greed, pride, pathological lying, bitterness, vindictiveness, desperation, unknown intentions, deception, unforgiveness, insults, etc.

A conclusion for some of the supporters of hate is that, like many situations, there are people doing stuff, but don’t know what they are doing.

[Acts 7:60, And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, LORD, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.] [Luke 23:34, Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted His raiment, and cast lots.] [Ecclesiastes 11:9, Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these [things] GOD will bring thee into judgment.]
