ASUU-FG: To Whom It May Concern! -By Abdulrahman Yunusa
May Allah’s favor and strength be in side of ASUU to defeat our common enemies whom despite the resources they plunder from our treasury are yet envying to see us thrive in happiness.
Even if ASUU failed to succeed in it struggle against FG (God forbid) the failure won’t symbolizes the holistic failure of the lecturers rather the main victims would be the students of whom some uninformed lads among them are busy lambasting the embattled ASUU.
And whether you know or not, ASUU is a blessing to Education in Nigeria. For I strongly believe without their intervention I couldn’t have find it possible to go through the system and obtained my BSc. I have seen a lot in their doggedness and I admire their spirit of sacrifice for the sake of future generation.
My concern is with the upcoming generation, who despite the multitude vices and hardship they could come across at their time, they will still manage to gather huge amount of money for a Degree certificate. Sad, they will just have it a history that there was a time when education was as cheap as attending an ordinary Madarasa.
