Attention Nigerian Power Holding Company And Nigerian Government -By Mallam Musbahu Magayaki

I would like draw the attention of aforesaid caption on behalf of millions of Nigerians on the unnecessary refusal to provide electricity in this sacred month of Ramadan. Even though, the problem affects all Nigerians both Muslims and Christians ones.

As Nigerians are honestly trying in settling their power charging dues, despite the difficulties experienced by the masses and living hardship, Alas, NPHC are not given adequate power supply to the masses.

Sadly enough, Nigerians are lamenting on the shortage of power supply which is obstructing them from getting ice block that could be pleasantly consumed during fasting break. The masses are crying out that the price of ice block has hike to the extreme extent, which as a result of the shortage of power supply by the concerned body.

Subsequently, as of now, a common man would buy ice block of pure water at the price of N100 each one, which before this time the price of pure water ice block was N10. And at the same time, the masses are entangling and wallowing for what they would eat to survive.

Furthermore, if to say, the electricity suppliers would provide adequate power supply at least, these lamentation would be reduced or eradicated to a dwindle level.

Nonetheless, one of the most happiest thing of every fasting observer after Iftar is to have a very good cold water to drink in order to revert his normal temperature to it’s proper condition. But how can he get that without having adequate electricity supply?

Even though, the minister of power has said that “The problem is caused by the breakdown of some National integrated Power Plants supplying electricity to the national grid.” But why can’t the government of the federation find out a way of resolving this issue as its their assigned responsibilities to that for the masses.

Their responsibilities is to work for Nigerians as they are elected in order to do that for a common man.

In a nutshell, I would like to therefore, urge the concerned body in collaboration with the government of the federation to look for the aforementioned cry out as well as lamentations and do the needful, for Nigerians to have a stable electricity supply.
