“Yes, I heard the tale and now come to tell. They are planning to bury the party in the book of politics in the state“.

Recall the return of P.D.P to Bauchi State in 2019 is a point to stand for the claim that politics in Nigeria is taking some remarkable dimension. Surprisingly, even as benefactors, they now planned to counter it.

Notwithstanding, the magnanimous history results with a revolution in the political aura of the nation having a handful of wise and experience personas joining the game for a try as result come-up with a remarkable development. Perhaps the said development luckily gain acceptance from the poor masses changing them from blind party foot soldiers to people of their own. In essence, my creatively craft words are in a way telling you that the voters have since understood their absolute right and no longer vote for party but credibility.

Evidently, in Bauchi State this impressive yet miraculous development have before all eyes shown itself like the early morning sunlight in the recent pass 2019 general elections were a sitting governor was voted out of office and denied the privilege for second time regardless of all the power he then possessed as a governor. It is indeed miraculous because until then that has never happen on the record of our democracy. Hence, the act instilled to the present administration and its office holders some fear leading to them sacrificing all efforts to hardworking in fulfilling campaigns promises.

Meanwhile citing one among many other fulfilled promises is the ongoing preparations for the local government elections. This can also be seen as an action that is bringing hope closer to the people especially those that have no trust on the government claim of commitment at the grass root.

Sadly, after taking this credit, ahead of the October 17th elections, some mongers believed to be of the governing P.D.P are making round rumors claiming autocracy that their party being the most powerful and one steering the government has vowed to have all offices regardless of how much supporters or influencers other parties may have out there.

Interesting as it may sound and indeed a good move in strengthening the party arms round the state but to also bought for the party a number of unimaginable opposing forces from the poor masses. This is because many of them zealous young men and women with remarkable dreams for the state have since took the advantage and joined the race aspiring to serve different offices with good number decamped to other parties. Yes decamped from the mother P.D.P, because of the lack of consideration shown to them as result they went ahead to secure for themselves the nomination tickets they were selfishly denied by the P.D.P executives.

What do you foresee if the election is manipulated and they were still denied their victories?

Needless to say, it is paramount to know that the ruling P.D.P has more than enough to maneuver and have this mission accomplished. But, the reason I felt the urge to raise this alarm is because I know people who do anything to have power at all-cause just like I understand through their paybacks that doing that is very dangerous as it often gave way to the age-long saying “he who fight to own power in favor of himself, not for his people, he too is on-chain” to be proved. Thus, an example of a vindication to this is the recently passed administration of the state.

Relatively, a quick flashback to a recent passed could lead us to retrieve the reason which frustrated the good people of Bauchi State to go ahead and see their former governor out of office to be in a way synonymous with the above-mentioned plans. Thus, it all started when the then leading A.P.C went ahead to award candidature tickets to their loyalists ignoring the direct primaries nomination system agreed by the party national executives. Quote me right, the selfish display scintillated the mind of the people as they feel not in any way is their wills considered in the administration and went ahead to retaliate with their little mandates. Obviously, in their way of showing who their offender is, they whole heatedly voted for A.P.C as President and other offices of their satisfactions but, make sure they kick out the governor himself.

On the foregoing, after we all witnessed and took part in the cited memory, contrary to what you may be expecting that the voters’ action should serve as a warning to whoever comes on the boat, the P.D.P’ is now playing the game with a blind eye sidelining all that happened in the recent past and planning same mistake.

Isn’t that a plan to ruin oneself?

Anyway, until they insist and push to have their selfish mission accomplished then they will come to understand in full the function and place of history in our lives. That will be when they begin to think of the decision of conducting the local government elections in the first place as a mistake. That is when the people who made the four walls of the state feel abused and unanimously come together and fight them back at the forthcoming general election.

Summing it up, my message to P.D.P is this: Watch your back. Think very well of what brought you to power and never you dare to abuse it and if you do, then be ready to accept back the knocking of your actions at your gate.
