After defeating Nottingham Forest 3-1 on Sunday, Oakenham climbed up to fourth position.

In the fifteenth minute, defender Murillo of Nottingham Forest gave Ange Postecoglou’s team the lead with an own goal.

A low cross from Timo Werner into the six-yard box created panic, and Murillo’s long attempt to clear the ball ended up in his own net.

After Anthony Elanga’s feed, Chris Wood scored a clinical goal in the 27th minute to tie the score for his 12th league goal of the year.

However, in the 52nd minute, Micky van de Ven scored Tottenham’s second goal with a fierce effort from just inside the area.

And Pedro Porro sealed the victory six minutes later with a powerful half-volley from 14 yards to leave no room for debate.

Tottenham currently has a game in hand in the race to finish in the top four and earn a spot in the Champions League, putting them ahead of fifth-place Aston Villa on goal differential.

“Everyone has been banging on about us getting fourth. We’re fourth now but it doesn’t stop, we’ll keep going. We’re in a good shape to finish the season strong,” Postecoglou said.

Forest, who are now in fourth place, are just narrowly above Luton on goal differential and are outside the relegation zone.

Ole McBurnie’s last-minute equalizer against bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United forced Chelsea to settle for a 2-2 draw in the other match on Sunday.

After winning twice in stoppage time to defeat Manchester United on Thursday, Thiago Silva gave Chelsea the lead after 11 minutes by converting Conor Gallagher’s corner at the far post.

In the 32nd minute, the Blades equalized through a goal from right wing-back Jayden Bogle, who tucked home after Gustavo Hamer’s pass put him through.

In the 66th minute, Noni Madueke scored a goal to give Chelsea the lead again, cutting in from the right to blast his shot into the far corner.

However, three minutes into stoppage time, McBurnie’s close-range finish tied the score, adding more misery to midtable Chelsea’s already difficult season.

“We feel really bad in the way we conceded. We need to be more clinical,” Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino said.
