Heal our land of all atrocities
Even though, it resulted from our complexities.
Heal our land of all madness
Though, it is due to the peaceful nature we didn’t harness.

Heal our land of all corruption
Even though, it is as a result of the greediness we didn’t curb.
Heal our land of the loveless generation
Though, it came because we rejected your loving nature.

There is war being declared by the people,
And the people in the government won’t stop their exploits.
When will this ever end?
Or will this go on forever?

Poverty has spread all over the nation,
And greediness has eaten deep into the bones of many.
Corruption rages on like a raging fire.
Violence is the order of the day all over the nation.

Hatred pummeling people like an angry bull.
Aggressiveness has become our language.
Prices just developed wings and flew up.
Killings everywhere, security has become a thing of the past.

All the past wounds that never healed,
And the past injustice that was never forgotten.
They all come rushing back vying to destroy our nation.
The naira keeps on dropping against the dollar.

Heal every soul in this land!
Heal our land
And let things go back to the way they were.
