In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful;

I start by applauding the efforts of the present administration to fulfilling its mandate and promises to Nigerians, but nonetheless their efforts are still not enough, so, the call for more, more and more of such.

We continue to call and appeal to NEC and NGFs to rise up to the challenges facing the nation before it consumes every one, the security situation in Nigeria, most specially the northern part is deteriorating by the day, and this is not unconnected with the oppression faced by the governed or masses.

Nigeria is no more like before, the level of awareness has gone far amongst the populace and I give the credit to the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB). Because it was after the inception of his administration that the entire story has changed, and this is because of the accountability and transparency the administration has brought which is beyond reasonable doubt.

The way most of our governors still consider or look at leadership has to change holistically in order to overcome the challenges bedeviling the nation. I heard the resolution of the NEC and NGF with great shock last week, when they resolved and suggested that the way forward to tackle the security situation is to procure more military hardware. I may agree with them partially, but as far as I am concerned, military force alone might not be an everlasting solution. We have seen this in the boko haram insurgency and many kinds of terrorism including the then Niger-Delta militia saga.

My belief as well as so many patriotic Nigerians is that the major cause of these unrest won’t be unconnected with the lack of good governance over the years, although some of the perpetrators are just evil minded persons.

Most of our leaders have today turned Nigeria somewhat similar to what the then Egypt of pharaoh of Prophet Musa’s time was, where Almighty Allah accused him of dividing his people (the governed) into two categories; i.e the elites that have been enjoying all the privileges, and the masses who have been sidelined and deprived of most privileges if not all.

Pharaoh’s tyranny was brought to an end through Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) and the masses were salvaged. If this is the situation in Nigeria, only God knows the end of these acts of terrorism. Our leaders are seen living a lavish life against all odds be it economic recession or the likes, most public institutions (e.g schools, hospitals, electricity e.t.c) have been turned to a very bad condition because the leaders patronize private ones, most at times abroad.

Furthermore, another problem is the corrupt practices of many public office holders who have turned their offices somehow like their personal companies, looting public funds and depriving the poor their rights.

The present administration of PMB has come with an intention to holistically change the narratives, but unfortunately he did not get the much anticipated support from Nigerians, especially the governors and public office holders. PMB is still trying his best against all the odds and challenges facing Nigeria today.

Furthermore, my appeal to the NGFs and all public office holders is to change the capitalist way of governance and thinking before it’s too late. Nigerians have suffered enough of all these and they shouldn’t over-stretch the masses, because nowadays there is awareness and people are current about the happenings in Nigeria and beyond.

Finally, as far as I am concerned, the call for restructuring won’t be of any impact if we don’t change or restructure our minds to be good citizens and patriots, with the abundant resources we have Nigerians are not supposed to be going through the hardships they are in.
I call on the NEC as well as the NGFs to focus more on human development in order to have lasting peace, development and poverty alleviation, especially through agriculture and technology driven economy as the federal government has been emphasizing.

May the lord of the universe continue to help Nigeria against all her enemies now and forever, AMEN.
God bless Nigeria and long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
