ONE-UNITED NIGERIA: This can only be achieved on the platform of ” LIVE & LETS’ LIVE”. Else the Pikin wey say him Mama no go sleep, him ma no go sleep at all. All our leaders & Elites acting as if Nigeria is a royal heritage from their ancestors should endeavour to have a second thought. A situation where other ethnic groups are considered so important and exalted and given all the nations’ privileges will continually ruins Nigeria’s peace,unity & progress. The geometric progression of the less-privileged in Nigeria is alarming.and it’s a bad omen.

Today, a farmer is nobody everywhere in Nigeria, with their children so hopeless of living a meaningful life; political tugs and their children have access to better standard of living far above farmers who toil all day long to feed the nation. Today Money men who had taken to the business of buy and sell of cattle have more recognition from the Government and society far above the cattle owners whose livelihood had been reduced almost to zero. The Herdsmen who are hired to look after the cattle of businessmen are fully armed and Nomads shepherding their own cattle go about only with sticks. The Miyetti Allah interest group and their likes are always causing problems for poor Nomadic people in the name of protecting the interest of the Nomads but they are rather making so much fortune from these peasants Nomadic rural dwellers while themselves lives in cities and enjoy good lives. These same interest groups are behind frustration of any steps taken by government to educate the Nomadic people. Nigeria have people with company names and some acquired very large portions of lands in the name of farming but they are in cities looking for political appointment, government contacts and negotiating for political interests at the expense of peasant farmers they confiscated those lands from.

The Traditional leaders are more interested to sell every lands at their disposal not minding how many lives of peasant farmers depends on such lands for survival. In most cases of Fulani -Herdsmen killings farmers particularly in Taraba state the traditional rulers are found to be the borne of contention; the Native Rural prefer to take farm lands from farmers and sell it to big time cattle businessmen who pay them good morning and order their hired armed herdsmen to go grazing everywhere without restrictions. This is the situation the present Taraba state Governor Arch. Dirus Ishaku found on ground and in his efforts to addressing this ugly situation he is being given bad name because he suspended many traditional rulers who were found wanting. Today, this Cattle business tycoons are gaining ground in the state against the will of the overall Taraba People because of their connection to the seat of power at the federal arm of government. These evil people are always causing crises among the rural people and getting the compensation due for the victims of the crises. I challenge the federal government to investigate this: Of all the compensation of Cows and farm lands destroyed during all the Fulani -Herdsmen /Farmers clashes especially in Taraba state few or none of these huge monies made available to support those victims normally gets to them. That is why any time these undesirable elements created crises anywhere, they are the first to go the media houses both national and international to call for attention.

Government of a democratic nature is of the people, by the people and for the people; and if Nigeria had found this system to be the most suitable system of government, then all hands must be on desk to keep to the tenancies of democracy, among which is given every Nigerian a sense of belonging.

May God Almighty by His wisdom and Ultimate power help us to Fix Nigeria.
