Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad bin Abdullah and his wife Khadijah, was the beloved daughter of the Prophet Muhammad and enjoyed his love more than any other woman on Earth. She is highly respected by all sects of Islam, with the exception of the Nawasib and Khawarij.

The Shi’as see her as the mother of their eleven Imams, as they were all descended from her, and also as the wife of their first Imam, Ali. The Sufis from the Sunnis see her as the mother of all the mu’assis of their Tariqa, except for the NAQSHBANDIS. She is also the mother of all their Awliya’s.
