The World Is Tired Of Us -By Tosin Adesokan

Life in this world would have been the most beautiful thing we have ever encountered if we have not frustrated her to the core grotesquely. We often take advantage of its inability to show emotions to play on her, sometimes, we cease to reciprocate her feelings for us. We have hunted her a lot and she is now rebelling by coming to an end. We have treated her badly, so she is taking us all to end with her. She is tired and ready to let us go. We detest nature which has been on our side since and replaces it with artificiality which always comes with pangs. The world has been hurt too much, she is ready tired of us.

Population, a key factor, which will be playing a pivotal role in this rebellious activity of the world has been manifesting immensely. Taking look at those populated cities among the world, Mumbai in India and Lagos in Nigeria among others have so much population to the extent to which people that can not breathe in good oxygen again, we are so close while walking together in the world nowadays, you can imagine when over hundreds of thousands of people are walking on a single road averagely. The world is tired and ready to let us go. Epidemic diseases are coming in when we are breathing in carbon dioxide produced by other people. Over 26,000 children were born in Nigeria on the first of January 2020 and we are producing food of 10, 000 people per day. Soon, there will be no food again, this will result in cannibalism. The world is tired of us and ready to let us go finally.

The beginning of third world war will mark the end of us, nuclear weapons have proven this, wars will end this world of ours if other factors refuse to. Bioweapons are nothing dangerous comparing to atomic bombs. The United States of America and Russia still have the highest nuclear warheads in the world, there are probabilities that this would be exposed to terrorist and will mark the end of a country or a race. The world is tired of us and ready to let us go. There are countries that can destroy another by pressing a button only. We have no physical wars again but proxy wars that are more dangerous. Robotic wars are coming soon when a machine will be fighting as human, should this system failed or get hacked by an opponent, we are all going with the world.

Natural phenomena damages are befalling on the world and will aid its life span by coming to an end with it. We destroy nature that was meant to protect us naturally and build industries all around, we kill the world and its beauties and it is time for her to rebel against humanity. Amazon fire which burned for days is a typical example of such a problem, Australian Fire which killed half of a billion animals, twenty human beings and burnt multiple acres of land is also part of them. Earthquake, unremitting rainfall, tornado and others are part of the factors.

The reason which ignited me to write is the fear of self-destruction by the world. While all the factors are killing the world as it has been predicted, some people will plan to stay above the world and try to regulate the world for there own betterment in the world as it is. They will try wiping off some part of the world if not all except those set people. The actions to take could perilously harm the world.

Let’s join hands by saving the world together, the world is dying of us, let us heal the world with what we have. You may say I am a dreamer but sooner, I will not be the only one.
