In a press statement released on Sunday by Aisha Gambari, Head of Communication at the US Embassy in Abuja, the US stated that it supports the Nigerian government in its efforts to strengthen security, hold attackers accountable, and guarantee the welfare of its people.

“The United States remains committed to supporting Nigeria’s efforts to combat terrorism and protect its citizens.
