Commonwealth Games: Nigeria wins gold, bronze in Discus throw

Nigeria has won gold and bronze medals in the women’s Discus throw final at the Commonwealth Games holding in Birmingham.

Nigeria’s Chioma Onyekwere clinched the gold medal after throwing an SB of 61.70m, to beat England’s Jade Lally who won the silver medal after throwing 58.42m.

Also, Nigeria’s Obiageri Amaechi came third in the final, clinching the bronze medal throwing 56.99m.
