Four Solid Reasons Why I Respect And (To A Large Extent) Trust Joe Okechukwu And Watch/Share His YouTube Videos -By Joe Dauda

How else can a man prove loyalty to the truth? By publishing that scathing rebuke of the Roman Catholic Church (with proofs that make it hard to dismiss) Joe Okechukwu was risking the sustenance of that very deep mother-son bond that is even more sensitive for us as Africans.

Reason Number 1

Although we know from the horse’s mouth that Joe Okechukwu’s mother is a diehard member of the Roman Catholic Church, that did not stop him from putting the video below on his YouTube channel:

How else can a man prove loyalty to the truth? By publishing that scathing rebuke of the Roman Catholic Church (with proofs that make it hard to dismiss) Joe Okechukwu was risking the sustenance of that very deep mother-son bond that is even more sensitive for us as Africans.

Reason Number 2

Although Joe Okechukwu has never announced (to the best of my knowledge) that he is a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, he still went ahead to publish a 30-year old testimony of a self-confessed Canadian demon worshipper that provides peripheral evidence that some of the unique doctrines believed by Seventh-day Adventists (but spurned by majority of the Christian world) are not only biblical but especially hated and dreaded by Satan and his fellow fallen angels.

Apart from many goodies in the six-part video, I finally understood (in part six) why I have never believed that a true child of God could ever be demon-possessed. In spite of the strenuous efforts of some Pastors to make us conscious of devils and demons, my fear of such things has stubbornly remained at 0% all these years. Now I understand why. As long as I believe in Jesus Christ, a demon (or Satan himself) is as harmless to me as a naked wire devoid of electric current. But when a Pastor is able to convince a true child of God that, because of bad dreams or some negative experiences, they are demon-possessed, their faith in Jesus Christ is damaged, opening them up for actual demon possession. Did you get that? That was what the former Canadian Satan worshipper said and I believe him. No wonder he angrily accused misguided deliverance Pastors of working for Satan, perhaps unknowingly in some cases. Note that no Pentecostal Church had been established in Nigeria by the time this man was interacting with the powers of darkness, which was sometimes in the 1940s. The body of a child of God is the temple of the Spirit of God. How can a fallen angel come near such enchanted ground without express permission? Express permission can, of course, be granted to Satan/demons in a number of ways, but that is beyond the scope of this particular article.

Through the video being referenced, I also finally got to understand that my dad was right when he claimed, decades ago, that the possession of just the cover of the kerosene tank of an old lamp was responsible for the untimely death of one of our aunts. We had thought that was a stretch at the time, but an Army General from my ethnic group also suddenly died some years ago because he refused to give up his late father’s cutlass, apparently insisting that he had to hang on to it as a souvenir to keep memories of the departed old man alive. He had been warned that the spiritual arrangement that resulted in the death of his father required that all his father’s property — every single thing he owned — be handed over to the traditionalists in his village. The Army General (definitely educated but wholly ignorant of the spiritual rules of the powers of darkness) paid for his ignorance with his life. It is amazing that it is a White man’s testimony that eventually confirmed these things to me. Indeed, evil is governed by the same laws — no matter one’s location on the globe.

Reason Number 3

Except my assumption is way off, Joe Okechukwu somewhat belongs to the mainline Protestant/Pentecostal Christian tradition. Sure, he calls out whatever seems disagreeable to him once in a while; but still, that is the most reasonable category to place him, in my view. My point is that, in spite of this association with the Protestant/Pentecostal arm of Christianity, Joe Okechukwu was neither ashamed nor apologetic in publishing the fact-driven video below that makes the recognition and celebration of Christmas equivalent to idolatry. I could hardly believe my eyes and ears while watching the video, which also proved that Santa (in Santa Claus) is a word play of the name of Satan, and such word play is common with Lucifereans. Shocking!

Reason Number 4

In a seminal video, Joe Okechukwu was humble enough to confess his earlier struggles with porn viewing. The courage to do this has earned him my abiding respect and his loyalty and love for the truth, proven by the three examples above, has earned him my trust to a very large degree. I pray that God will reveal to him whatever else he needs to know so he will absolutely be free from the wine of Babylon on his heavenward journey.

Sometimes I wonder if Joe Okechukwu knows the truth about the doctrine of the Trinity and the fact that the original and genuine founders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church categorically, repeatedly, and, for almost one hundred years, roundly rejected that doctrine. I wonder if Mr Okechukwu is also aware that the only reason why the Seventh-day Adventist Church worships a Trinity today is due largely to the work of the acclaimed prophetess, Ellen Gould White, with whom I have since parted ways. This was exactly because of her role in championing that ancient, pre-Christian pagan doctrine that is, quite remarkably, the central doctrine of the Roman Catholic faith. One Catholic publication stated that every doctrine of the Roman Catholic faith is founded on the doctrine of the Trinity. That’s Ligouri Publications. Amazing!

Long before I met Joe Okechukwu through YouTube, I had manifested the same courage I now admire in him by blatantly rejecting the doctrine of the Trinity without minding the fact that today’s SDA Church worldwide now believes that doctrine and has made it part of its fundamental Statement of Beliefs. With loyalty to Christ alone and not my church, I humbly rejected the doctrine of the Trinity, based on overwhelming evidence, including the clear words of Jesus Christ in John 14:28, John 17:3, and the many testimonies of the Bible in passages like 1 Corinthians 8:6, 1 Corinthians 15:24-28, etc. At the time, I honestly believed I was the first Seventh-day Adventist to reject the doctrine of the Trinity, while still fervently holding on to all other Adventist doctrines. It took another five years until that fateful day when I providentially stumbled on historical information proving that, apart from the acclaimed prophetess Ellen Gould White, the original founders of the SDA Church all rejected the doctrine of the Trinity, including the very husband of the prophetess, Mr James Springer White! What a happy day that was for me when I finally found out that I was not the first Adventist to reject a doctrine that Simon Peter never believed, Jesus Christ never taught, and the Bible does not validate. Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God; God is His Father — meaning that Jesus Christ is absolutely like God and has God’s divine nature. Only the Antichrist cannot accept this eternal fact, as stated in 1 John 2:22-23. In 1 John 4:15, the Bible states:

“Whosoever shall confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God”.

When, in Matthew 16:16, Peter declared that Jesus Christ was the Son of the living God, Jesus Christ was so impressed and so satisfied, and considered that designation of His true position so accurate He said to Peter:

Matthew 16:17

“Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father, which is in heaven”.

What did the Father of Jesus Who lives in heaven reveal to Simon Peter?

Matthew 16:16: That Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God.

Why didn’t Jesus Christ use that opportunity to say He is God (or a Trinitarian God-the-Son) and not the Son of the living God, as Peter had rightly declared?

Why did Jesus Christ give special place to His Father by referring to Him as “the only true God”? What is the meaning of that statement? John 17:3.

Furthermore, when you hear people accusing the Seventh-day Adventist Church of commanding abstinence from meat and milk and eggs and things like that, please do not blame these people. But they are wrong. The fact is that anything in the line of any commandment to live a vegetarian lifestyle is strictly from Ellen Gould White, the acclaimed prophetess of the SDA Church. What the Bible teaches us to do (and what Bible-believing Seventh-day Adventists do) is discriminate between clean and unclean animals — which was something even Noah and the old fathers were conversant with; Genesis 7:1-2. Unlike a pig that can eat virtually anything — including its own piglets— man was not created to eat any and everything. And the categorization of what is edible and what is not edible is the basis for the doctrine of clean and unclean animals. And it was known since the time of Noah, which was many centuries before the ceremonial laws of the Old Testament. Anybody can think or say whatever they want but the curious burden Ellen Gould White bears is that the Bible prophesied that the command to abstain from “certain foods” will be a mark of those who have come under the influence of seducing spirits; 1 Timothy 4:1-3. The Bible did not bother to say that these people will not teach anything that is true because it goes without saying that, to win the confidence of the saints, they must teach some truth – even a lot of truth. The poison is their teaching (the command to abstain from certain foods) is the concern of the prophecy of 1 Timothy 4:1-3.

I certainly have nothing personal against Ellen Gould White and hereby truthfully and gratefully declare that I have been blessed by her writings. But I’m unable to dismiss the questionable things attributed solely to her and I’m also unable to disregard the prophecy of 1 Timothy 4:1-3. I have highly respected and dearly beloved friends, fathers, mothers, uncles, and Pastors who still believe in Ellen Gould White. I won’t be hurting their feelings with this type of article for casual reasons. The reason I’m publishing this is because I’ve checked out the facts and know what I’m talking about.

There is nothing wrong with a vegetarian lifestyle, if you desire it or if your doctor recommends it. But prophecy is not a joke and prophecy indicts any religious leader commanding abstinence from certain foods (beyond what the Bible teaches) as having come under the influence of seducing spirits. Should we dismiss prophecy for the sake of pleasing certain highly esteemed persons? Did the Holy Spirit inspire 1 Timothy 4:1-3 for nothing? I remember asking my Pastor (name withheld) over 13 years ago about 1 Timothy 4:1-3 and its connection with the SDA Church teaching on vegetarianism. He had no satisfactory answer and that was quite revealing. I won’t say something more disturbing about prophetess Ellen Gould White so it doesn’t appear like I’m out to attack her. But more information is available (for free) to anyone who cares about the truth, like the odd connection between the name, Ellen Gould White, and the number, 666.

Jesus Christ (with His resurrected, immortal body that shall never die) ate a piece of fish and God fed Prophet Elijah with bread and flesh. Who is that prophetess that will impeach the wisdom and benevolence of God and command what God has not commanded? Yet millions follow on. Luke 24:42-53; 1 Kings 17:2, 4, 6. Instructively, just like Jesus Christ ate flesh and soon went to heaven bodily, Prophet Elijah also ate flesh and eventually went to heaven bodily as a token of those to be translated without tasting death. This point is germane because some Adventists who insist on following Ellen Gould White instead of the Bible often defend her by saying that the abstinence from meat etc. is to prepare the body for translation to heaven. These Adventists should soberly consider the very inconvenient fact in Luke 24:42 where Jesus Christ (with a resurrected, immortal body) ate a piece of what the Bible described as “broiled fish.” Perhaps that verse would open their eyes. Loyalty to a church is not the same thing as loyalty to God, even though religious leaders are happy to have the distinct lines between the two blurred.

And then there was that video Joe Okechukwu published on his channel that either proved he was naive, or possessed with the raw boldness of prophet Micaiah, the son of Imlah; 1 Kings 22:8, 14, 28. I will never believe that Joe was naïve and wholly unaware of the danger in publishing that video, which focused on Pastor Enoch Adeboye — the soft-spoken and much beloved General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG. I will also not comment on that video but urge you to watch it for yourself and draw your own conclusions.

It is pertinent to note, in conclusion, that Joe Okechukwu’s disposition to the truth is the minimum entry requirement for those who will not be deceived by the beast of the Book of Revelation. If Jesus Christ said the saints would nearly be deceived by this power, beware! And in case you have forgotten, as I have been pointing out in several past articles, no amount of prayer and assurance from any Pastor or man of God will prevent the complete fulfillment of Revelation 13:8. According to that prophecy, Satan will soon take over this world in a very real and practical way we have never before witnessed. That takeover is happening right before our eyes and, eerily, nearing its consummation. As a matter of fact, if your Pastor or church leader has never (in these last days) explained or read or referred to Revelation 13:8 — a most critical prophecy of these end times — chances are that they are blind guides (who are sincerely ignorant) or deliberate deceivers who know better but are just deceiving and distracting you with other parts of the Bible that are quite true and useful but not part of what the Bible describes in 2 Peter 1:12 as “present truth”.

Revelation 13:8

“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

May God have mercy on all of us.

NB

1 Kings 19:14

“And he (Elijah) said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thy altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left . . .”

Elijah could not obey Hebrews 10:25, not because he wasn’t interested but because there was just no single person to fellowship with in spirit and in truth.

Food for thought.
