Good Friday: The Day Jesus Christ Took Our Place
I am indeed grateful for the great sacrifice You made for me and all mankind. Thank You for taking my place on the Cross. Thank You for Your grace to finish this race.
Good Friday is a day when we should recall that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ paid it all – the debt He did not owe. We all stood condemned, but He took our place and shed His precious blood for our redemption.
However, if we continue to live in sin today, we are crucifying Him all over again to our own detriment (Hebrews 6:6). It is my prayer that His death shall never be in vain in our lives and sin will never again have dominion over us in Jesus’ name.
