The wastes is any material’s or substances which requires to be disposed of as being shattered, wear out, contaminated spoilt and as such lost it’s usefulness . It can be Capable of flowing freely like water and could be hazardousness , These classification are combination from garbage or refused at homes and other places where human being and animals lives existing .

Any tangible and non- free flowing Unwanted materials or substances that results from human being activities also it is referred to as a municipal made entirely from the specified material or wastes where it’s sources are generated from — Commercials and industries operations, population growth and Economic development is major contribution to solid wastes generation in Urban areas . According to the ( The World Bank , 2019 ) Thus , municipal solid waste is usually generated from human settlements , small industries and commercials activities .

Nigeria generated millions tons of solid wastes yearly , most of these wastes are coming from the households in some cases coming from local industries around the environment these led to the environmental challenges such as blocking of drainages , increasing malaria or outbreak diseases and air / water pollution into the society these was cause by the lack of proper cleaning of environment most of the industries and local business people are not engaged in cleaning the environment where they produce a product to the people , especially industries that are producing product with packable or cover , these industries are supposed to engage in different environmental exercise such as creating orientation about environments from different environments or society , monthly sanitation for example his Excellency Professor , BABAGANA UMARA ZULUM Of borno state who re- introduce a monthly sanitation every end of the month from 7’oclock to 10′ o’clock on Saturday .

Industries they has a many opportunities engaged into cleaning environments also industries use the monthly sanitation to recruit some staff that work even once a month with environmental staff’s or ministries who responsible both Federal government and state government for the cleaning of the environments, also all industries they can collaborate with each and donate a baskets or container to specific places where the people have access to disposing their wastes into the baskets, industries should noted that paying a tax to the government is not enough because 50% percent of the wastes are coming from the products that producing from the industries , Therefore they make sure their waste or unwanted will not affect anyone or cause a problem in the environment .

Citizens or households around the each environment have a responsibilities to ensure that their environments is clean and disposing the wastes to the available baskets or disposing waste location In the area also 60% percent of the householders are not interested to clean their environments because of the lack of knowing causes and effects of the waste .

The environmental agencies that we have in Nigeria such as National Environmental Standards Regulatory Enforcement Agency ( NESREA ), Environmental Health and Registration Council of Nigeria ( EHORECON ) , National Boisafety Management Agency ( NBMA ) including state government agencies and Non governmental environmental agencies they supposed to increase or expanding their technologies and awareness through different Media organization such as Newspaper , Radio , Television , Social media platforms , orientation and other accessible way that people can easily get the information including illiterate people those who can not read and write in the environment .

In the other side government can build a company or industries that produce a product through waste from different environments this should help to reducing a waste from environments it will attract the mind of the people to consider waste as sources of income to them and especially it will reduce a thousands of unemployment’s youths in the society , in a similar way it will bring a development and refinements to the society , In addition noted that not only government can build a company or industries can be Private owner in the society.

In conclusion – I can said that ” One man’s trashed is another man’s treasure ” producing a product using creativity and methods is an option to reduce waste from the environment because citizens of Nigerian believe that one day one time development will coming to the country especially , citizens should respect any information to concerned environments obeying rules and regulations from the governments officials also trying to have a clean environments for our safety within a environments it is not easy to change our behavior in a day or two but if we take steps and consciously we can start to make small little changes in our environment , we can brin big difference to the society , also our traditional rulers has their roles to play about the the issue to bring a better change to our environments .
