Kaduna Military Attack: Human Inhumanity To Fellow Human -By Mukhtar Garba Kobi
The military and all those concerned should come out and explain why the attack was conducted on those people?. Why they failed to use such sophisticated weapons on bandits and insurgents that are kidnapping people and causing unrest in Katsina, Zamfara and Sokoto?.
Yesterday, we woke up with sad news which disseminated like wildfire about an attack carried-out by military on innocent civilians in Kaduna State. The victims that died during the sad onslaught were mostly youths that gathered to commemorate the birth of Noble Islamic Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), based on reliable information gained, none of them was holding even a stick talkless of weapons that could harm others. Unfortunately, there is still no official apology or commiseration from the side of Federal, State governments or the Military to the families of over thirty persons killed in cold-blood.
leaders in other countries give priority to the lives of their subordinates more than money or global recognition. They value the rich and the poor equally, one of such is the current President of Tanzania Mrs Samia who decided to canceled her participation in the ongoing Climate Change Summit in Dubai following flood disaster which claimed 50 lives in her country. Yet, in Northern Nigeria fighter jet dropped bombs that killed more that 30 innocent people but only few politicians expressed their worries over the dastard actions of military to muslim faithfuls in Kaduna while the mass majority remained mute like nothing happened at all.
It is indeed disheartening that elites, celebrities, religious preachers and activists that fight violation of human rights in Northern region of Nigeria refused to talk on the attack; most of them have millions of followers on social media platforms but continue to be taciturn. They all supposed to be voice of the oppressed that have no power to seek justice, they supposed to link between victims of the attack and rightful authorities but have chosen to remained silent which is absolutely not good for development.
