The Bible tells us to forgive people who offend us. It also tells us that if we don’t, God won’t forgive us our sins. It’s a give-and-take. If we want God’s forgiveness and mercy, we should also be most willing to forgive and let go.
Learn to love and learn to forgive. In all you do, let love and forgiveness lead.
The truth is that in life, nobody is perfect. We all make mistakes. We are bound to offend one another either by words or actions. But when we realize our mistakes, we can apologize and make amends. That is the place of forgiveness.
No matter the gravity of the offence, we should pray for the grace to be able to forgive and let go. Forgiveness brings freedom of mind. You free your mind when you forgive people.
