  (MY LITTLE GIFT OF LOVE)

Being one of you, I write to first congratulate all men and women in general, and us (April babies) in particular for making it to another cycle of our birth calendar. It is indeed a thing of joy and we owe it a duty to give thanks to God the author and finisher of our faith. While we look forward to seen our birthdays individually, beginning with those whose date is today(happy birthday to them), we need to be reminded of happenings around the world.

There’s a pandemic that seems to be more serious than the common coronavirus pandemic, it is the “PANIC/FEAR PANDEMIC” that is having its grip everywhere as the current wave of the dreaded COVID-19 keeps spreading increasingly on daily basis around the world. The world is getting battered and shattered by its impact, she is seemingly and gradually sinking in the troubled waters this has imposed on us. Fear is however, not a good option for a way out of it, facing it headlong is.

I feel dedicating our birth month to fighting the world’s common enemy would mean a lot to all humanity. Not all of us are health workers but all of us are humans with feelings and emotions. We could give life a meaning by encouraging each other against fear. As the monster doesn’t know our races, continent, countries, cultures, religious and political affiliations, so should our fight against it be. Men and women with golden hearts arise!

As a Christian, I see us being called to stand in the gap like watchmen(Isa.60:6), and doing this is by using our knees. David said I look up to the mountains, where would my help come? My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth (PS 121:1). Is a. 59:1 says the Lord is not too weak to save us, nor deaf to hear us. Are you a Muslim, speak to the the creator concerning our case too.

May God bless our individual new age
May God bless our birth month
May God bless our golden hearts
I congratulate us as the clarion call remains highly trumpeted
