It is with due respect,i write this letter to you. I hope you will find time to read it. Sir, the reason for this letter is to draw your attention on the crises that rocked the Kaduna central primary election and your in ability to address it few weeks to the 2023 general elections. It seems the party is heading to the election with parallel candidates, as sardaunan badarawa has continued to parade himself as legitimate candidate, despite the appeal court ruling which restored Lawal Adamu Usman mandate on 19 December, 2023. This has proved beyond reasonable doubt that the party under your leadership is either colluding with opposition or deliberately aggravating the crises in other to lost Kaduna central senatorial zone. There is no gainsaying the facts, the lingering or festering crises that continue to trail the outcome of the primary conducted on 23 May, 2023 would affect the party’s victory. Sir, if you can recall, Lawal Adamu Usman was declared winner by the returning officer, Dingyadi, having polled 99 to beat his closer opponent, Usman Ibrahim.

However, the result was challenged by Usman Ibrahim in the federal high court, Kaduna. Justice Umar Garba of the federal high court nullified the primary and ordered for the conduct of fresh primary within two weeks. Surprisingly, the party under your watch, hurriedly organized the primary within three days without including other four aspirants which fall below standard in any parameters. At the end of the sham primary, sardaunan badarawa was allocated 205 votes and declared winner.

Justice Peter Affen in his judgement upheld that the federal high Court went outside its boundaries to inquire into the party internal affairs. It set aside the high court Court’s ruling and declared Lawal Adamu Usman as the winner of the primary. By appeal court ruling, one must have expected the loser to either accept the outcome of the judgement or appeal his case to supreme Court. Unfortunately, sardaunan badarawa refuses to abide by the ruling, but continue to claim ownership of the party’s ticket which amount to court contempt punishable by imprisonment. Sadly, when Sardaunan badarawa continues to display naked ignorance, the party refuses to call his attention or wade into the crises with a view to nip it into bud. However, what one sees and visibly disturb is indivisible hands of some dark horses who become cog in the wheel of geinune desire to resolve the crises.

Sir, the leadership of the party under your watch has since sided with Usman Ibrahim who have lost both in the primary and the court of law. Why? There are convincing evidences to suggest that the party has turned its back to Lawal Adamu Usman, despite the facts he sacrificed his time and wealth for the development of party in the state. The supersonic speed with which the party organized the sham re-run and it’s refusal to invite Lawal Adamu Usman for the peace meeting organized by the state party’s stakeholders stated the obvious. The questions begging for answer are: Why has Kaduna PDP hell- bent to scuttling the chance of the party to win election in Kaduna central? What are Mr LA sins? Are these powerful forces not comfortable with his towering popularity? Since the time he foray into politics to date, Lawal Adamu Usman, has become household name, touching the lives of ordinary people in so many ways. His 50millions scholarship to students of high institutions, coupled with the training and empowerment of over 42,000 vulnerable youths and women are some of his achievement.

Sir, as an ardent supporter of this our great party,i appeal to you to use every available mechanisms to resolve the ongoing impasse arising from the primary election of Kaduna central. I think Lawal Adamu Usman is imbued with leadership qualities and command massive support that will lead to the victory for the party in 25th February, elections.
