1.0 OPENING AND GREETINGS
It is my honour and great pleasure to address us all at this auspicious OCCASION OF AWARD, CEREMONY AND CONFERENCE OF CHANGE AMBASSADOR FOR PEACE AND HUMANITY (CAPH), TODAY SATURDAY MARCH 26TH, 2021. May I seize this opportunity to say thanks to Youth Education and Leadership Initiative (YELI) & CHANGE AMBASSADOR FOR PEACE AND HUMANITY (CAPH), for the confidence reposed in me, and for the opportunity and honour; to present this paper, receive the awards, as well as re-affirm my commitment and determination to my declaration to contest as the next President of Nigeria come 2023 by the grace of God, under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, the largest political party in Nigeria and Africa as the flag bearer. May I state clearly that, “I am set to take over from president Muhammadu Buhari as next President of Nigeria in 2023. I have a dream that one day a woman will become the president of Nigeria to reform the nation, and the dream is now.”

As the Presidential Candidate of Mass Action Joint Alliance (MAJA) in the 2019 election; and the only Amazon in the 2023 Presidential race on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) against 2023 presidential election, I make this declaration in good faith, that I have the vision, mission, dream, drive, knowledge, courage and capacity to reshape Nigeria with a feminine touch in grand style and lead the country to social, economic and political stability and advancement through my PMA ADVANCED RESTRUCTURING AGENDA.

The high turnout at this event, in spite of COVID-19 pandemic, right here in FCT, Abuja, from all over the nation and from across other nations of the world is a clear prove of the commitment of the CHANGE AMBASSADOR FOR PEACE AND HUMANITY (CAPH) to their commitment to peace in Nigeria and Africa and entire world peace as youths.

2.0 Introduction: Ladies and Gentlemen: It’s time for us all as individuals and nations of the world to focus our thoughts on, speak about and make commitments to individuals, national and world peace by the special grace of God in Christ. We need to talk to ourselves about principles that attract peace.

There are several individuals, groups and nations, that have refused to respect human rights, others rights, their dignity, self esteem, race, tribe and regions, etc., because of their own self projected inferiority complex nature. This event is an excellent opportunity for us to persuade and enjoin them for the need to respect others boundaries without trapping and encroaching on their freedom while we insist they should be brought to book. Let there be respect, peace, dignity and sanctity of lives.

3:0 Discussion: “RUSSIA/UKRAINE CRISIS: THE PLEA OF MOTHERS IN POST COVID-19 ERA” by FUNMILAYO Adesanya-Davies:

The main aim of this paper is to appeal, plead, and persuade all involved in the spirit of peace and one love to please put an end to the Ukraine/Russia war. The mother’s plea is to appease both sides without apportioning any blame. We as mothers in the world write to appeal the decision of the war and it’s current escalation in Ukraine and Russia. No apportioning of blames to any side or party at all please – JUST A PLEA ! We appeal to Ukraine and Russia and NATO and the rest countries taking sides. We pray for the various world leaders involved in diplomacy over Ukraine and Russia. This is to have the situation reconsidered, and overturned without any form of blame game. I write and speak in my capacity as the Country President and International Director of the United Nations Positive Livelihood Award Centre, International Peace Advocate (UN-POLAC) and HONORARY MEMBER OF CHANGE AMBASSADOR FOR PEACE AND HUMANITY .

PLEASE, ACCEPT THE PLEA OF MOTHERS IN THIS POST COVID-19 ERA. Our world is just recovering and healing from COVID -19, and we can’t afford another world war.

May I start in the words of Femi Fani-Kayode, that unequivocally, “One must condemn the barbaric killings and vicious barbarism that has been unleashed against a mainly defenceless and helpless civilian population in the Ukraine. Yet the bitter truth is that all that President Volodymyr Zelensky has to do, amongst others is to stop the relentless slaughter of his people, by stating clearly and categorically that the Ukraine will NEVER join NATO, that the Ukraine will NEVER allow foreign military bases on her soil and that the Ukraine will MAINTAIN her neutrality like Sweden and Finland.”

Reading through several general discourse on the war outbreak between Ukraine and Russia, some people believe that, “There are no excuses or justifications for what Russia/Vladimir Putin is doing in Ukraine.” His brutal invasion in their view, “Is a bald-faced act of aggression, replete with war crimes” and he is being condemned as such by large numbers of people and nations across the globe.” In fact, the targeting of civilian populations and infrastructure is a heinous act that belongs in the annals of major nation state crimes alongside the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003. As such many governments of the world have denounced Putin’s actions.

However, others believe, when it comes to the U.S. and its NATO allies, these condemnations demand greater scrutiny, while many statements from Western leaders may be accurate regarding the nature of Russia’s actions, the U.S. and other NATO nations are in a dubious position to take a moralistic stance in condemning Russia. That they do so with zero recognition of their own hypocrisy, provocative actions, and history of unbridled militarism — particularly in the case of the U.S. — is deeply problematic.

From the beginning of this crisis, Putin has exploited the militarism and past bombing campaigns of the U.S. and NATO to frame his own warped justification for his murderous campaign in Ukraine. But the fact that Putin is trying to justify the unjustifiable does not mean that we must ignore the U.S. actions that fuel his narrative.

Some have projected that, if you insist on talking or writing about the war in the Ukraine, you need to kindly get your facts right and do not repeat the one-sided, subjective and monotonous clap trap and fairy tales that CNN and other international media networks are continuously churning out. This is because, any student of modern history will tell you that the Russians were never the villains when it comes to acts of barbarity committed against sovereign nation states and against the oppressed people of the world. That notorious title goes to the Americans, the Western European nations and their allies. So many sides with blame games.

However, in conclusion, PLEASE, PLEASE AND PLEASE, it is time to yield to the mother’s plea. THE MOTHER’S PLEA! It’s time to end the war. The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) verified a total of 977 civilian deaths during Russia’s military attack on Ukraine as of March 22, 2022. Of them, 81 were children. Furthermore, 1,594 people were reported to have been injured. However, OHCHR specified that the real numbers could be higher, while several persons have been displaced. No one trust a man or woman that urges you to go into a war or to keep fighting a war that you cannot possibly win. They only those that seek the path of peace and that urge you to make the reasonable compromises and necessary concessions. It’s time for negotiations and peace at last, Please Volodymyr Zelensky, please save your people from the hardship, suffering, dying and war. We say please Russia, get to the negotiation table and please end the war in the name of all that matters to you!

4.0 Conclusion: There is a need to reorganise and restructure the nations of the world for all to be satisfied and happy. Also in the world of politics and governance, Women should be allotted 35%, youth 25% while the men 40%. We all need to begin and continue the pursuit of PEACE, JUSTICE AND HUMAN RIGHTS as God the Creator expects we should all be at PEACE AND UNITY as we DEVELOP AND PROGRESS in humanity. “The human specie is teachable, changeable, developable and transformable. IT’S POSSIBLE!!!” –says, Dr. Mrs. Sarah Jibril. The human soul is a “tabula rasa”. As the world overcomes the Pandemic, let our conflicts shape us!!!

Twelve PRAYERS to pray during this crisis in Ukraine and Russia
Dear Heavenly Father, in the mighty, precious and mercifully name of our Lord Jesus Christ:

1. We ask You our Almighty God to redeem this situation by drawing many people to Yourself. May Ukrainians and Russians discover that Jesus Christ the Saviour is the only true source of peace, safety, comfort, truth and freedom in times as this.

2. We pray that Ukrainians ultimately would hope not in governments, elections or diplomacy, but in Jesus Christ our Saviour, while Russia will not depend o their might but your instructions.

3. We ask You the Almighty God to deliver Ukraine and Russia from evil. May You have mercy and heal this land. May You give Ukraine and Russia peace and the chance to develop as a nation that values truth, justice and freedom, all rooted in the goodness of God.

4. We pray for a culture in which political disagreements don’t lead to hatred or violence in these two lands ultimately.

5. We pray that the conflict between Ukraine and Russia will not spill over into personal conflict within families, especially when family members live on opposite sides of the border and are influenced by different sides of the “information war.” We pray for unity and love for one another that supersedes the problems between the two countries.
6. We ask you our Almighty God to bless soldiers’ wives and children with peace and safety while their husbands and fathers are gone. Keep their husband in safety at the war front oh Lord.

7. We pray that the conflict between Ukraine and Russia will not spill over into conflict all over our world, and major wars especially with NATO and the rest countries taking sides. We pray for the various world leaders involved in diplomacy over Ukraine and Russia. Lead and direct them aright in their decisions oh Mighty God.

8. We pray that the evangelical Church will remain united, even as it faces difficult questions, such as how involved believers ought to be in politics or in armed conflict.

9. In the past few years, the Ukrainian evangelical Church has become much more passionate about sending its own cross-cultural workers to reach the lost. We pray that this conflict will not dissuade Ukrainians from taking the gospel message to Russia and to other lands.

10. We pray for Christians in the military. This is a challenging time; We ask you our Almighty God to guide them as their faith is being tested in new ways. We pray for mighty revival in the two countries by Your special grace oh God.

11. Fears stemming from the conflict come up frequently in conversation. We ask you our Almighty God that missionaries and other believers will have many opportunities to explain to their neighbours and friends the reason for the hope within them, even in this time of trial.

12. We pray in the Spirit by the power of the Holy Ghost and thank you Lord God, and we pray with thanksgiving for Ukraine and Russia in our Lord Jesus Christ precious name, amen and AMEN.
