Have you ever heard or read that sin has its consequences? Don’t be in haste you will know more about sin in this piece.

Whatever we do has its consequences on society and even the nation at large.

Sin as we can see as just three letters word has consequences on individuals and society.

Sin is an offense against religion or morals and it is also a transgression of the law of God.

It is also a vitiated state of human nature in which the self is estranged from God. 

As I said earlier that sin has its consequences, I will like to tell us and explain what you knew not about sin.

Sin is very destructive and disastrous to mankind and it can block the blessings of this life and the hereafter.

It is known to be the worst enemy to we mankind if only we know.

Sins turn you away from your Lord, the goodness of fate gradually deviates from you so you don’t find comfort with pious people who can turn you back to your Lord.

Sins prevent knowledge, for the likeness of a sin is like a black pot that darkens the soul, knowledge on the other hand is a light that illuminates the heart, for darkness and light can’t be together in the same heart.

Sins weaken the soul, heart, and body, among the evil of sins is the weakness of the heart, a person finds it hard to be compassionate and show mercy to others.

Sins cause the disappearance of modesty, which is the essence of the life of the heart and the base of all good, its disappearance is the disappearance of all good.

The prophet (SAW) saidالحياء كله خير.Modesty is goodness.

Sins change your mentality and way of life, you begin to view sins as normal things and norms, it begins to influence you, and the morals in you are gone.

Sins darken the heart, the heart becomes hardened to the extent that the person will be able to involve in all bad attitudes, like killing, kidnapping, ritual, taking of drugs, fraudster, committing suicide, corruption, and the likes.
Sins make no one be the significant insight of the committer, that is why you see most of the people addressing their parents anyhow and they can even do the worst by using their parents for ritual.

If I say I should continue writing on its consequence on individual alone I won’t be able to finish writing, now to the consequences of sin on the society.

Sins are one of the major things that turn society into what it becomes today.

Sins are what makes our leaders corrupt to the extent that they have no pity for us at all and it’s affecting us and society, they embezzled all they meant for us and make all things we are in need to become too expensive for us to purchase.

It what lead them to sponsor the bandits and Boko haram in our society and community, and having no security at all and no peace of mind, fearing to be getting attacked by them.

Another thing is about fraudsters, the committer uses dishonest methods to take valuable things or money from people making them shed tears and turning happiness to sorrow for them.

Sins are what turn some people to tout that will be disturbing the peace of the society causing violence and destroying lives and property of people and putting the society in a state of restlessness.

Domestic violence is also a sign it’s among the consequences of sin on society whereby there will be a conflict between a wife and his husband using weapons on themselves, their children grew up to that and see it as normal things and live their lifestyles like that too.

Let us all endeavor and move away from all forms of sin.May Allah safeguard us and forgive us all.
