UPDATE: Wizkid, Burna Boy concerts gave me breakthrough – Hype Man, ICS
He was on stage at Wizkid’s ‘Vibe on the Beach Concert’ and Burna Boy’s ‘Love Damini concert’. He performed with Zlatan at Seyi Vibe ‘Live in Concert’, and ‘Turn down the Roof of the Space’ at Ti Blaze’s concert. He was present at the famous DJ 4kerty ‘Live in concert’ and also at Mavins concert.
As the rave-of-the-moment hypeman, Kehinde Sodiq Omoshayor a.k.a ICS (I Can’t Shout) gears up for his “Beach Experience Concert” 2024 coming up on June 7th, the artist shares a bit of a glimpse into his career and the moments that defined the turning point in his life.
“Wizkid, Burna Boy, and other top artists gave me the platform to rise at their concerts. Since 2022, I have been on stage with the biggest names in the industry,” he said.
ICS has worked with many Nigerian top celebrity artistes and DJs. In 2020 , he was shortlisted as one of the Top 10 hype men in Nigeria . During that competition, ICS was in 8th position.
December 2022 was a breakthrough year for ICS. He was at the heartbeat of every major concert in Lagos, Nigeria.
He was on stage at Wizkid’s ‘Vibe on the Beach Concert’ and Burna Boy’s ‘Love Damini concert’. He performed with Zlatan at Seyi Vibe ‘Live in Concert’, and ‘Turn down the Roof of the Space’ at Ti Blaze’s concert. He was present at the famous DJ 4kerty ‘Live in concert’ and also at Mavins concert.
Since 2022, he has been around Zlatan Ibile and the specific hypeman to introduce him on stage before Zlatan Ibile’s performance till date. His energetic performance with ‘Zlatan’ at the Island Block party 2022 remains indelible just as his presence vibrated the crowd at Davido’s Fans Concert. He rounded off his busy schedule with Bella Shmurda’s concert in Ibadan in 2022.
His signature concert “The Beach Experience” is in its third year and it’s coming up June 7, 2024 with industry movers and shakers expected to grace the event.
“ Making people happy and leaving smiles on the faces of my fans gives me satisfaction, and I’ll go to any length to make sure that my aim is achieved”, he said.
ICS was born and bred in Lagos. He started his hyping career after his secondary school days. ICS stands out because he does his work with a big smile on his face, he is well-polished and this makes him stand out. Thus far, he has travelled to almost 36 States in Nigeria where he has hosted and performed at different events, concerts, weddings and clubs.
