Open letter to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu -By Suleiman Ajao Jimoh

Dear Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I hope this letter meets you well.

Nigeria shall witness new era of progress in terms of real development although APC led administration is on course already.

As a citizen of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, a civil servant of donkey’s years with cognate experience, and as someone who has witnessed your administration from 1999 – 2007 in Lagos State, Nigeria, I think it behoves me to write to you with utmost sincerity and passion for seeing Nigeria becoming great once again.

Since the restoration of our nascent democracy in 1999 compared to the so-called developed countries, Nigeria, no doubt, so far has a chequered history that has shaped our democracy.

It should be noted without equivocation that my family and I have been great benefactors of your quintessential administration while you were the governor of Lagos State.

I admire your tenacity, goodwill, and contributions toward the development of Lagos State. On this premise, you were instrumental to my sons’ school fees from Junior Secondary School to Senior Secondary without me paying a dime for their academics. You are indeed a leader of great repute and good conscience.

I named one of my sons after you. His name is Ahmed. It shows how glad and appreciative I’m towards your course as a governor in Lagos State. And it must be reiterated that you will certainly be an indispensable and reliable leader for us as a country.

I want to state without any fear of contradiction that your influence positively affected me as my sons are now  graduates of BSc. Business Administration, HND Mass Communication, BSc. Finance and BSc. Anatomy due to your endless impact on our lives.

At this juncture of our political trajectory and economic challenges, you possess the political will, intellectual capacity, and vast experience to navigate the hurdles. Your giant strides in Lagos state are matchless by any governor.

As the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate in this imminent 2023 presidential election, I make bold to state that you are the only candidate worthy of the seat as the president of Nigeria. You have demonstrated the rightful knowledge, experience, and political acumen to shoulder the responsibility of our great country.

There is no doubt denying the fact that you are the man to beat in this forthcoming presidential election. Your triumph will be a watershed in the annals of our political bearings.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, you are a seasoned administrator, lover of democracy, a cosmopolitan, and a harbinger of “renewed hope.” In Nigeria, you possess the Midas touch to hit the promised landmark for our nation.

Evidently, it is a fact beyond reasonable doubt that your detractors will fizzle out with time and your opponents are just placeholders in the scheme of this game. Your ability to organise a team that will move Nigeria to its promised land cannot be rivalled.

I wish you the very best in this 2023 presidential election, as I hope and pray fervently you emerge as the winner with huge margins. Please rest assured that my family will definitely cast our votes for you.
