cashless policy:  it is not new that in the 21st century that countries are adopting this method and me as youth am glad.but the question is; Is our preparation ready for this policy?

In my research and journey of life as a Nigerian and Amplifying through the terrible scenes, we intend to believe that things haven’t been for once easy in Nigeria, Many Nigerians laments and struggles for leaving at even a place where the bugeirscy exploited the proletariat despite their hard working. and then, The implementation of cashless policy would also have their way negatively, making life so miserable to the citizens who had laboured to cater for what tge Government suppose to have done.

 do we really needs to prioritize politic affair than the welfare being of dear Nigerians. Cashless policy is very good but are we ready for it in terms of applications and preparations? Mr president we are sorry, if we have to bug against these policy. all state are not as developed and expose as lagos state, that is if we wants to use and urban area like Lagos to prospects others and as far as lagos is concerned there are still numerous area and quarters that have;

Also Absent of communication: we all known that not all citizens of this country have a phone or a tv or a radio in their household .

Exclusion of certain groups: A cashless policy will definitely exclude individuals who do not have access to banking services or electronic payment methods, particularly in low-income communities. This could lead to financial exclusion and limit opportunities for economic participation…

Increased risk of fraud and cybercrime: Electronic transactions can be vulnerable to fraud, identity theft, and cybercrime. Without proper security measures and infrastructure, a cashless policy may increase the risk of financial fraud and loss.c  infact electronic payment systems are reliant on technology and infrastructure, which can sometimes experience technical issues or downtime. This can lead to transaction delays and inconveniences for individuals and businesses.

Transaction fees and charges: Electronic payment methods often come with transaction fees and charges that can add up for consumers and businesses. This can make electronic transactions more expensive than cash transactions, particularly for small transactions. Infact as a student, the rate of which POS owner extort Money for charges.

Overall, the negative effects of a cashless policy can be mitigated by implementing appropriate measures and infrastructure to ensure access to electronic payment methods, security, and reliability. However, it is important to consider the potential negative impacts on those who may be excluded or disadvantaged by a cashless policy

All what they do and familiar with is to trade and get paid in cash. Some don’t even know the door steps of banks or any financial institutions.  Infact the aged Nigerians who  does not have any educational trait to perform any cashless transaction. Do  CBN have ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR THEM.

 Infact this changing of currency should have be early last year or still the deadline which is creating hassling and poverty acceleration should have been duly considered and putting Non elite Nigerians first.

The current situation and this policy is not a problem to the elite or to those it seems to be targeted at. But to the common  Nigerians who has to work a day before they could work out their days.

However, Mr President in respect to your office, we want to respect you and love you. Then we write to indulge you to put  the common Nigerians first and let the policy be reviewed in consideration to the masses favor.

It is a tragedy for a citizen of this country to buy his or her country currency with alarming percentage.

Mr President in your quote “I belong to no one and I belong to everybody” THE MASSES NEED YOU SIR.
